While liaising with the Project and Design teams, Lead’s Commissioning Team looks for opportunities to promote and include local artists and suppliers and provide opportunities for current residents to influence product selections.

After undertaking a briefing with the client to understand requirements in relation to Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE), Information Communication Technology (ICT), and organisational and site operations, Lead collaborates with preferred suppliers and industry leaders to develop a procurement and commissioning strategy aligned with the client’s preferences.

As a key part of commissioning, Lead manages installation on site with the facility’s operational team to ensure commissioning of the facility runs smoothly with minimal interruption to resident’s care, facility operations and project timelines. Once the facility commences operations post-commissioning, Lead serves as a resource to the facility’s operations team by organising specialised training, ongoing maintenance support and further procurement if required.

At Lead we aim to support clients beyond the construction phase. We continually monitor grant funding opportunities and have successfully secured $85.4m in funding for a range of client projects through providing grant funding application and management assistance.

Lead has successfully secured funding for client projects ranging from refurbishments, redevelopments and new developments. As our team has a depth of experience in project and program management, we have the ability to analyse potential projects and present viable reasons as to why funding should be awarded. Furthermore, we have the capability to create specialised reporting such as programs, risk management plans, indicative budgets and cost estimates as evidence to support grant applications.

As each grant opportunity is different, there are varying requirements organisations must follow to ensure the funds are used correctly. Lead has hands-on experience managing funding agreements for various projects, and in such, our staff have a strong understanding of the standard terms and conditions of funding agreements. As part of Lead’s engagement in managing funding agreements, we review all costs to ensure any spend is eligible under the agreement and that all works undertaken are in alignment with funding requirements.
