As a result of our extensive history of delivering aged care projects, Lead has a strong understanding of Australian aged care system and the set of regulations and guidelines that govern the provision of aged care and health services.
Our team has a comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Act and other relevant legislation, as well as the various reforms and policy initiatives that impact the sector. This includes knowledge of the rights and needs of older Australians, quality and safety standards, funding models, workforce requirements, and the specific challenges faced by different demographics, including those in rural and remote areas.
Every member of Lead’s project management team has worked on multiple aged care projects not just as an external project manager, but internally as part of the property team from early feasibility and strategic planning right through to operations and commissioning, as well as post occupancy reviews and decommissioning of sites.
Lead has worked on greenfield and brownfield projects, and also has vast experience in delivering programs of works for facilities and maintenance teams to ensure their facilities are compliant and able to continue operating. This vast experience across all areas of the aged care sector has meant that Lead understands the operating environment and how to manage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
