Lead Consultants were engaged as Development Manager, Project Manager and Superintendent for the comprehensive upgrade project to the Anglicare Meilene Residential Aged Care Facility in Bundaberg, QLD. This process involved project management, budget allocation, coordination and management of sub-consultants, stakeholder engagement and design of the overall landscape masterplan for the site.

As Development Manager, Lead Consultants focused on leveraging the expertise of each Consultant while also prioritising the Client’s requirements. The internal design of the facility focused on improving operations and providing opportunities to enhance residents’ care through upgrading resident rooms to include ensuites and improved communal areas. Furthermore, opportunities for both direct and indirect interactions with nature were incorporated and the masterplan identifies various types of landscapes which offer different opportunities for improvement and recreation.

Throughout the duration of the project, Lead focused on developing clear communication flows to manage Consultants and meet project timelines. The project was successfully delivered to the Client and Lead was present at the opening ceremony welcoming the residents and local community to the new facility.
